Pigeon Point Environmental Education Program with Exploring New Horizons
About Exploring New Horizons
Exploring New Horizons (ENH) is committed to providing high quality, affordable environmental education for the greater San Francisco Bay Area. As educators, we are dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through the awareness and understanding of the beauty and diversity of nature and each other. We strive to nurture intelligent, active citizens who will work together to create a healthy and sustainable environment and a responsible society.
Exploring New Horizons (ENH) is a private non-profit [501 (c) (3)] California corporation that conducts residential outdoor education at three facilities. In all three programs, teaching is conducted outside and centers around exploration and appreciation of the natural world.
PPEEP is substantially smaller, serves kindergarten through eighth grade in 1- to 3-day settings, and is located at the Pigeon Point Lighthouse/Youth Hostel, along the San Mateo coast.
